Infiray PFN 640+ thermal camera
Multifunctional thermal imaging device
The PFN640+ is the smallest multi-purpose thermal imaging monocular based on the new 12µm sensor. The combination of 50Hz refresh rate and the latest 12µm sensor with a resolution of 640×512 pixels ensures a pin-sharp image. The resistance to adverse weather conditions such as fog, rain, snowfall or large temperature fluctuations from -45°C to +55°C does not affect the performance of the device. Standard 18650 batteries are used for operation.
The PLF has two viewing modes: handheld or clip-on.
Clip-on mode and helmet-mounted mode are identical. The image is reduced to show a 1x representation. When the RH25 is set to handheld mode, the image is magnified 1.3x. With the 1.3x image display, the image section is round. The screen also features an inclinometer and a digital compass.
The PLF has three simple buttons. Power, Menu and Image. These keys have different functions depending on how long you hold them down. When you press the power button, the device turns on. Pressing and holding the button when it is on will bring up a menu to turn off the device. If you press the power button shortly, the sensor will be recalibrated. The center menu button gives you a short press to bring up the options menu. Long press toggles from handheld to clip-on mode. Briefly press the image button to take a photo. Long press records a video.
There is a 7-pin Fischer connector on the side. The PLF comes with a USB/BNC split video output cable. The USB port is used to download images and videos. The BNC video output is used to output the thermal image via a mini DVR.
Thanks to the 2x and 4x digital magnification, lenses can also be observed and identified perfectly at great distances and because of the 25mm lens, the PLF can be used for both close-up and long-distance use.
